The TL284xB and TL384xB series of high-performance current-mode PWM controllers provide low start-up current, precise reference, automatic feed-forward compensation, high-current totem-pole output, undervoltage lockout and double-pulse suppression, and can implement off-line or dc-to-dc fixed-frequency current-mode control schemes with a minimum number of external components.

This document introduces the features of the TL284xB and TL384xB series of high-performance current-mode PWM controllers, including low start-up current, trimmed oscillator discharge current, current mode operation up to 500 kHz, automatic feed-forward compensation, latching PWM for cycle-by-cycle current limiting, internally trimmed reference with undervoltage lockout, high-current totem-pole output undervoltage lockout with hysteresis, and double-pulse suppression.
