Analog Devices AD1885 AC’97 SoundMAX® Codec Datasheet
The AD1885 codec meets the AC’97 2.1 specification and adds features such as a built‑in headphone driver, PHAT 3‑D stereo enhancement, and flexible power‑management modes. It supports up to three codecs on a single link and offers independent sample‑rate control for each channel from 7.04 kHz to 48 kHz.
The device provides four stereo line‑level inputs, two mono microphone inputs with 20 dB pre‑amp, and a mono output for speakerphone or internal speaker. Detailed pin descriptions, ordering information, and recommended application circuits are included for designers.
