Maxim MAX8545/MAX8546/MAX8548 Datasheet
The MAX8545, MAX8546 and MAX8548 are voltage‑mode, PWM buck‑converter ICs designed for cost‑sensitive applications. They operate with a wide input range, provide adjustable output down to 0.8 V, and achieve efficiencies up to 95 %. The devices drive low‑cost n‑channel MOSFETs as high‑side switches and synchronous rectifiers without the need for an external sense resistor.
Key features include internal 5 V linear regulation for gate‑drive supplies, soft‑start to limit in‑rush current, input undervoltage lockout, and foldback short‑circuit protection.
