TEXAS INSTRUMENTS SN54AC245/SN74AC245 Manual
The AC245 octal bus transceiver is designed for asynchronous two‑way communication between data buses. The device passes non‑inverted data from one bus to the other when the output‑enable (OE) pin is low, and isolates the buses when OE is high. Direction control (DIR) determines the data flow direction, and unused inputs must be held at VCC or GND for proper operation.
The data sheet provides absolute maximum ratings, recommended operating conditions, electrical characteristics, switching timing, and packaging information for multiple package types (PDIP, SOIC, SSOP, TSSOP, etc.). It also includes mechanical drawings, thermal impedance values, and an important notice regarding product availability and warranty.
