Intersil ISL12028 Real Time Clock/Calendar with EEPROM Datasheet
The ISL12028 is a low power real time clock with calendar, power-fail indicator, clock output, and crystal compensation. It features an integrated 512 x 8 bit EEPROM configured in 16 Byte per page mode and supports two periodic or polled alarms with CMOS output.
The device includes intelligent battery backup switching to maintain timekeeping during main supply failures, a CPU Supervisor function with watchdog timer and low voltage sense, and on-chip oscillator compensation for improved accuracy. The calendar is accurate through the year 2099 with automatic leap year correction.
