Intersil ISL81334/ISL41334 Dual Protocol Transceivers Data Sheet
The ISL81334 and ISL41334 are two-port interface ICs where each port can be independently configured as a single RS-485/422 transceiver or as a dual (2 Tx, 2 Rx) RS-232 transceiver. The devices feature +15kV ESD protection on bus pins and support full failsafe operation for RS-485/422 modes. When in RS-232 mode, an onboard charge pump generates +5V Tx output levels from a single Vcc supply as low as 4.5V.
