Intersil ICL3225 ICL3245 Datasheet
The ICL3225 and ICL3245 are RS‑232 interface ICs that operate from a single 3.0 V to 5.5 V supply. They provide low standby current, automatic and manual power‑down features, and meet EIA/TIA‑232 specifications. The devices require only four external 0.1 µF capacitors for the on‑chip charge‑pump circuitry.
The family includes multiple package options (SSOP, TSSOP, PDIP) and offers features such as +15 kV ESD protection, latch‑up free operation, and a “ready to transmit” indicator. Detailed electrical specifications, pin descriptions, and power‑down logic tables are provided for designers.
