Analog Devices AD9516-3 Clock Generator Datasheet
The AD9516-3 provides multi‑output clock distribution with sub‑picosecond jitter performance. It features an on‑chip PLL and VCO that tune from 1.75 GHz to 2.25 GHz, and can accept an external VCO/VCXO up to 2.4 GHz. Six LVPECL outputs (up to 1.6 GHz) and four LVDS outputs (up to 800 MHz) are available, each reconfigurable as two 250 MHz CMOS outputs.
Typical applications include high‑speed networking line cards, high‑performance ADC/DAC clocking, wireless transceivers, and test instrumentation. The device operates from a single 3.3 V supply over an industrial temperature range of –40 °C to +85 °C.
