The ICL32XXE family are 3.0 V to 5.5 V powered RS‑232 transmitters/receivers with +15 kV ESD protection, designed for battery‑powered handhelds, notebooks and other portable equipment. They offer automatic and manual power‑down functions, low standby current, and are compatible with 3.3 V‑only, mixed‑voltage, or 5 V‑only systems.
