Microchip TC1014/TC1015/TC1185 Datasheet
The TC1014, TC1015, and TC1185 are CMOS low‑dropout (LDO) regulators designed for battery‑operated systems, portable computers, medical instruments, and other low‑power applications. They offer selectable output currents of 50 mA, 100 mA, or 150 mA and provide ultra‑low‑noise operation with optional reference bypass.
Key characteristics include low quiescent current (typical 50 nA), shutdown mode that reduces supply current to near zero, and a compact 5‑pin SOT‑23 package. The devices feature over‑current and over‑temperature protection, and are pin‑compatible upgrades for older bipolar LDOs such as the LP2980.
