Maxim MAX3316-MAX3319 RS-232-Compatible Transceivers Datasheet
The MAX3316‑MAX3319 family are low‑dropout RS‑232‑compatible transceivers that operate from +2.25 V to +3.0 V and support data rates up to 460 kbps. They include Maxim’s AutoShutdown Plus feature, which reduces supply current to micro‑amp levels when the RS‑232 cable is disconnected or idle for more than 30 seconds, and a READY logic output indicating charge‑pump status.
These devices are offered in space‑saving 16‑pin SSOP and 20‑pin TSSOP packages (MAX3316) and 20‑pin SSOP/TSSOP for the other variants.
