The DS1306 is a real-time clock (RTC) manufactured by Maxim. It has 1Hz and 32.768kHz clock outputs, supports Motorola SPI™ (Serial Peripheral Interface) Modes 1 and 3 or Standard 3-Wire Interface, supports reading/writing successive addresses in Clock/RAM, has dual power supply pins, optional trickle charge output to backup supply, operating voltage range of 2.0V to 5.5V, optional industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, and is packaged in an efficient 20-pin TSSOP package and is Underwriters Laboratory (UL) recognized.
