3M Hyper Soft Thermally Conductive Interface Pads 5519/5519S Technical Data Sheet
The Hyper Soft Thermally Conductive Interface Pads are silicone‑elastomer sheets filled with ceramic particles, offering a highly conformable, slightly tacky surface for efficient heat transfer between components and heat sinks. The standard versions have removable film liners, while the “S” version includes a thin PEN film carrier for easier handling.
Typical physical properties include a thermal conductivity of 4 W/mK, Shore 00 hardness of 80, and a dielectric strength of 11 kV/mm. The pads are available in thicknesses of 0.5 mm, 1.0 mm, 1.5 mm, and 2.0 mm, and they meet UL‑94 flammability, RoHS, and TSCA requirements.

What is the purpose of the PET film on the S versions of the pads?
The PET film provides a non‑tacky surface that eases rework and assembly and improves dielectric strength.
What is the maximum temperature these pads can operate at?
The pads are rated for continuous operation up to 150 °C.
