The STM6xxx supervisors are self-contained devices providing microprocessor supervisory functions. They monitor the VCC input for out-of-tolerance conditions using a precision voltage reference and comparator. When an invalid VCC condition occurs, the reset output is forced low or high depending on the specific device variant.
These devices are available in a standard 5-pin SOT23 package and offer features such as a watchdog timer (except for STM6322/6825) and/or a push-button reset input. They provide reset pulse widths of 1.4 ms, 200 ms, and 240 ms (typical) and a watchdog timeout period of 1.6 s (typical).
