STMicroelectronics ST7580 Power Line Networking System-on-Chip Datasheet
The ST7580 from STMicroelectronics is a fully integrated narrow-band power line networking system-on-chip. It combines a high-performing PHY processor with embedded turnkey firmware and a protocol engine with turnkey communication protocol, plus a fully integrated analog front end and single-ended power amplifier for line driving.
The device supports B-FSK modulation up to 9.6 kbps and B-PSK, Q-PSK, and 8-PSK modulations up to 28.8 kbps. It is offered in a VFQFPN48 7x7x1.0 48L exposed pad package, operates from -40 °C to +85 °C, and targets smart metering, street lighting control, and command and control networking applications.
