The LED7706 is a high efficiency LED back-light driver, which includes a high efficiency monolithic boost converter and six controlled current generators (rows) specifically designed to supply LED arrays used in the back-lighting of LCD panels. The device can manage an output voltage up to 36 V (i.e. 10 white LEDs per row). In case of failure, the short-circuit or open-circuit protection feature allows to turn off the related LED row.
