The HIN202E‑HIN232E series are high‑speed RS‑232 transmitter/receiver ICs that operate from a single +5 V supply and include on‑chip charge‑pump voltage doublers to generate ±10 V RS‑232 levels. They feature +15 kV ESD protection, low typical supply currents (5‑15 mA) and optional shutdown mode for battery‑powered applications.
These devices are offered in a variety of package types (PDIP, SOIC, SSOP, TSSOP) and driver/receiver configurations, making them suitable for computers, printers, terminals, modems, ISDN adapters and other high‑speed serial communication equipment.
