The L298 is an integrated monolithic circuit designed to accept standard TTL logic levels and drive inductive loads such as relays, solenoids, DC and stepping motors. It is a high voltage, high current dual full-bridge driver with an operating supply voltage of up to 46V and a total DC current of up to 4A. It features low saturation voltage, overtemperature protection, and high noise immunity.
