Microchip PIC18F2682/2685/4682/4685 Datasheet
The PIC18F2682/2685/4682/4685 family are 28‑, 40‑ and 44‑pin enhanced flash microcontrollers featuring ECAN™ technology, a 10‑bit analog‑to‑digital converter and nanoWatt power saving. They support multiple power‑managed modes: Run (CPU on, peripherals on), Idle (CPU off, peripherals on) and Sleep (CPU off, peripherals off) with idle currents as low as 5.8 µA and sleep currents down to 0.1 µA.
These devices provide flexible clock options, up to four crystal modes, PLL, internal oscillators from 31 kHz to 8 MHz, and a fail‑safe clock monitor. Peripheral highlights include high‑current I/O (25 mA), multiple PWM outputs, MSSP (SPI/I²C), EUSART with RS‑485/RS‑232/LIN support, and an ECAN module capable of 1 Mbps CAN 2.0B communication. Flash program memory ranges from 80 KB to 96 KB and data EEPROM up to 1 M‑cycle endurance.
