OSRAM LG N971 / LY N971 LED Chip Datasheet
The LG N971 (green) and LY N971 (yellow) are ultra‑small 1206 surface‑mount LED chips (3.2 mm × 1.6 mm × 1.1 mm) designed for indoor displays, optical indicators, flat backlighting of LCDs, cellular phones, switches, displays and toys. They emit at 570 nm (green) or 587 nm (yellow) with a Lambertian viewing angle of 160° and optical efficiencies of 2.5 Im/W and 1.5 Im/W respectively.
Key electrical characteristics include a forward voltage of 2.2 V (typ), reverse voltage of 5 V, forward current of 20 mA (typ), power consumption of 65 mW, and operation from –30 °C to +85 °C. The devices are supplied on 3000/reel tape, pre‑conditioned to JEDEC Level 2, and are intended for IR‑reflow soldering according to IPC‑9501. This manual is written in German.
