This document introduces the features, characteristics and usage of the Vaisala PTB110 series barometer. The barometer is based on microelectric control and outputs voltage or frequency. It has multiple pressure ranges and the output values are calibrated values. The barometer uses Vaisala's proprietary BAROCAP® sensor, which has high accuracy and reliable measurement characteristics.

Vaisala BAROCAP® Barometer PTB110 is a micro controller based barometer including a voltage or frequency output. The barometer can be supplied with several pressure ranges. The output of the barometer is a calibrated barometric pressure reading. The barometer uses the Vaisala BAROCAP® Sensor, a silicon capacitive sensor developed by Vaisala for barometric pressure measurement applications. The BAROCAP® sensor is especially designed for accurate and stable measurement of barometric pressure.
