The LM2678 is a high-efficiency 5A step-down voltage regulator from TI. It integrates all active functions and can drive a 5A load with excellent line and load regulation characteristics. The regulator uses a low on-resistance DMOS power switch to achieve high efficiency of up to 92%. The series includes fixed output voltages of 3.3V, 5V, and 12V, as well as an adjustable output version.
