The LM2597/LM2597HV Simple Switcher series provides a monolithic step‑down (buck) regulator capable of delivering up to 0.5 A with a fixed 150 kHz switching frequency. Available in fixed 3.3 V, 5 V, 12 V outputs and an adjustable version (1.2 V‑37 V, 57 V for HV), the devices are offered in 8‑lead DIP and surface‑mount packages.
