NATIONAL SEMICONDUCTOR -LM26 SOT-23 ±3°C Accurate Factory Preset Thermostat handbook
The LM26 is a precision, single digital‑output thermostat in a 5‑lead SOT‑23 package. It integrates an internal reference, DAC, temperature sensor and comparator, and can be factory‑programmed for a trip point between –55 °C and +110 °C with ±3 °C accuracy. The device offers configurable hysteresis (2 °C or 10 °C) and selectable open‑drain or push‑pull digital outputs.
The handbook includes functional descriptions, pin assignments, absolute maximum and operating ratings, ordering tables, typical application circuits such as fan control and thermal protection, and guidelines for after‑assembly testing using the Vyeyp analog output. Physical dimensions, land‑pattern recommendations, and noise‑rejection test results are also provided.
