The TSOP11..KA1 series are miniaturized receivers for infrared remote control systems. PIN diode and preamplifier are assembled on lead frame, the epoxy package is designed as IR filter. The demodulated output signal can directly be decoded by a microprocessor. The main benefit is the operation with short burst transmission codes and high data rates.

VISHAY TSOP13..KA1 is a series of miniature IR receiver modules for remote control systems produced by Vishay Semiconductors, with photodetector and preamplifier assembled on lead frame, epoxy package designed as IR filter, TTL and CMOS compatible, working voltage is 2.7-3.6V, output voltage is 0-0.3V, can be decoded directly by a microprocessor.
