VISHAY TFDU5037 DATA SHEET
The TFDU5307 infrared transceiver module complies with the latest IrDA physical‑layer specification (MIR, up to 1.152 Mbit/s) and includes a PIN photodiode, an infrared emitter (IRED) and a low‑power control IC in a single low‑profile package. It operates from 2.7 V to 5.5 V and requires only a supply‑bypass capacitor and a series resistor for current limiting.
Typical applications include cellular phones, digital cameras, printers, fax machines, PDAs, video‑conferencing systems and external infrared adapters. The device offers a tri‑state output, shutdown mode with <5 µA current, and programmable pulse‑duration modes for compatibility with SIR and ENDEC receivers.
