The product is HVArc Guard® C0G (NP0) series produced by Vishay Vitramon, using surface-mount, precious metal technology, wet build process MLCC that protect against surface arc-over. The series products have high capacitance, small case size, voltage breakdown voltage is twice that of some competitor products, excellent reliability, high voltage performance and so on. It can be used in DC-to-DC converters, power converters, flyback converters, lighting ballast circuits and other circuits.
