The NBC12439 and NBC12439A are general purpose, PLL based synthesized clock sources designed for frequencies ranging from 50 MHz to 800 MHz. The internal Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO) operates between 400 MHz and 800 MHz, with division ratios of 1, 2, 4, or 8 configurable via parallel or serial interfaces.
Key features include best-in-class output jitter performance (+20 ps Peak-to-Peak), a fully integrated phase-locked loop that eliminates the need for external loop filter components, and minimal frequency overshoot. The devices support crystal oscillator inputs from 10 MHz to 20 MHz and offer operating voltage options of 3.3V or 5.0V.
