About this manual

The XC6371/XC6372/XC6373 series are PWM‑controlled and PWM/PFM‑controlled step‑up DC/DC converters. They are designed for portable products such as cellular phones, pagers, palmtops, cameras and video recorders. The built‑in switching transistor allows the circuit to be built with only a coil, a diode and a capacitor.

Key features include selectable output voltage from 2.0 V to 7.0 V in 100 mV steps, multiple oscillation‑frequency options, soft‑start protection, low‑power chip‑enable or separate VDD pins, and small SOT‑89 family packages. Electrical characteristics such as maximum output current (100 mA typical) and efficiency (≈85 % typical) are provided for each variant.
