PHILIPS 74HC/HCT4024 7-stage binary ripple counter handbook
The 74HC/HCT4024 are high-speed Si-gate CMOS devices and are pin compatible with the “4024” of the “4000B” series. They are specified in compliance with JEDEC standard no. 7A. The 74HC/HCT4024 are 7-stage binary ripple counters with a clock input (CP), an overriding asynchronous master reset input (MR) and seven fully buffered parallel outputs (Q0 to Q6). The counter advances on the HIGH-to-LOW transition of CP. A HIGH on MR clears all counter stages and forces all outputs LOW, independent of the state of CP. Each counter stage is a static toggle flip-flop. Schmitt-trigger action in the clock input makes the circuit highly tolerant to slower clock rise and fall times.

PHILIPS 74HC/HCT4059 Programmable divide-by-n counter handbook
The 74hc/hct4059 is a programmable divide-by-n counter that can be programmed to divide an input frequency by any number (n) from 3 to 15999. There are four operating modes: timer, divide-by-n, divide-by-10000 and master preset, which are defined by the mode select inputs (Ka to Kc) and the latch enable input (LE) as shown in the Function table. The complete counter consists of a clock generator, a programmable counter and a latch. The clock generator is constructed using D flip-flops, whose output frequency is 1/2 of the clock frequency. The programmable counter is made up of four 14-bit Johnson counters, whose outputs are latched in the latch to form the master counter's output.

PHILIPS 74HC/HCT4316 Quad bilateral switches handbook
74HC/HCT4316 are high-speed Si-gate CMOS devices. They are specified in compliance with JEDEC standard no. 7A. The 74HC/HCT4316 have four independent analog switches. Each switch has two input/output terminals (nY, nZ) and an active HIGH select input (nS). When the enable input (E) is HIGH, all four analog switches are turned off. Current through a switch will not cause additional VCC current provided the voltage at the terminals of the switch is maintained within the supply voltage range; VCC >> (VY, VZ) >> VEE. Inputs nY and nZ are electrically equivalent terminals. VCC and GND are the supply voltage pins for the digital control inputs (E and nS). The VCC to GND ranges are 2.0 V to 5.5 V.
