The LD1086 Series is a 1.5A low drop positive voltage regulator capable of providing 1.5V to 12V adjustable or fixed output voltage. The device guarantees a maximum output current of 1.5A, output tolerance of ±1% at 25°C and ±2% in full temperature range.

The LD1086 is a low dropout voltage regulator that can provide up to 1.5A of output current. It has adjustable or fixed output voltage options, including 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, 2.85V, 3.3V, 3.6V, 5V, 8V, 9V, and 12V. The output tolerance is ±1% at 25°C and ±2% over the full temperature range. It features internal power and thermal limit, and operates in a wide temperature range from -40°C to 125°C. The LD1086 is available in TO-220, D2PAK, D2PAK/A, and DPAK packages. It is pin-to-pin compatible with older 3-terminal adjustable regulators but offers better performance in terms of dropout and output tolerance. The LD1086 has a quiescent current that flows into the load, increasing efficiency. Only a minimum 10µF capacitor is required for stability.
