Infineon BTS 4880R Datasheet

Datasheet 20 pages · 358 KB · EN

The BTS 4880R is an Infineon Smart Power high‑side switch that integrates eight independent channels, each capable of delivering 0.625 A. It includes built‑in protection functions such as over‑voltage, under‑voltage shutdown with auto‑restart, short‑circuit, overload, thermal shutdown, ESD, and reverse‑battery protection, making it suitable for industrial PLC applications and as a replacement for electromechanical relays.

Key electrical characteristics include a typical on‑state resistance of 200 mΩ per channel, supply voltage range of 11‑45 V, standby current of 50‑150 µA, and thermal resistance junction‑to‑case of 1.5 K/W. The device is supplied in a compact QFN package with detailed pin assignments and ordering codes provided.
