Analog Devices AD9481 8‑Bit 250 MSPS 3.3 V A/D Converter Datasheet

Datasheet 28 pages · 926 KB · EN

The AD9481 is a monolithic 8‑bit ADC optimized for high‑speed, low‑power applications. It operates from a single 3.3 V supply (3.0‑3.6 V range) and includes an internal reference and track‑and‑hold circuit, eliminating the need for external reference components. The device provides differential analog inputs, a 1 V p‑p input range, and TTL/CMOS‑compatible digital outputs that can be configured as two‑s complement or binary.

Key features include a maximum conversion rate of 250 MSPS, power‑down mode reducing consumption to as low as 15 mW, and demultiplexed CMOS outputs for easy interfacing with FPGAs. Typical applications are digital oscilloscopes, instrumentation, communications, point‑to‑point radios, and digital predistortion loops.
