MAX1121 is an 8-bit, 250Msps analog-to-digital converter (ADC) optimized for outstanding dynamic performance at high IF frequencies up to 500MHz.
The MAX1121 is a monolithic 8‑bit, 250Msps analog‑to‑digital converter optimized for high‑IF frequencies up to 500 MHz. It operates from a single 1.8 V supply and consumes only 477 mW at its maximum conversion rate. The device offers LVDS‑compatible digital outputs and selectable data formats (two’s complement or offset binary).\n\nDesigned for wideband applications such as digital predistortion in cellular base‑station transceivers, the converter provides a full‑scale input range of 1.1‑1.375 V p‑p, an SNR of 48.9 dB at 10 MHz, and an SFDR of 68 dBc at 100 MHz. It is supplied in a 68‑pin QFN package and operates over an industrial temperature range of –40 °C to +85 °C.
