Datasensor SE2-BODY Series Type 2 light curtains for body protection with 2, 3, or 4 beams, featuring a compact profile and integrated test function.
The Datasensor SE2-BODY Series Type 2 light curtains are safety devices designed for body protection, complying with IEC 61496-1 and IEC 61496-2 standards. Available in versions with 2, 3, or 4 beams and various heights (500, 800, 900, 1200 mm), they offer an operating distance up to 50 meters. The devices feature a compact 35x40 mm profile and include integrated test functions activated every second without stopping the machine cycle.
Configuration is managed via specific dip-switches accessible through a slot on the front of the receiver. These switches allow operators to set manual or automatic restart functions, as well as total or partial muting. The units are optically synchronized and contain all control circuits, inputs, and outputs inside the housing, with connection options including 8-pole M12 for the receiver and 4-pole M12 for the emitter.
