This document describes an EMI suppressor, which is a class X2 metallized paper capacitor suitable for high AC and DC voltage applications. It has high dU/dt capability and self-healing characteristics. It is suitable for commutator capacitors in converters, high voltage DC capacitors in TV sets, and ignition circuits.
