SlimStack SMT Stacking is a board-to-board connector launched by Molex with a variety of space-saving choices for applications such as cell phones, digital cameras, PDAs and other mobile devices.
The SlimStack family provides a broad range of micro SMT board‑to‑board connectors designed for space‑saving applications such as cell phones, digital cameras, PDAs and other mobile devices. Available pitch sizes are 0.40, 0.50, 0.635 and 1.00 mm with stack heights from 0.90 to 20.00 mm, supporting circuit sizes from 7 to 240.
Molex offers both unshielded and fully‑shielded versions, with high‑speed performance up to 3 GHz for the 0.635 mm pitch and up to 4 GHz for select 0.50 mm versions. Features include gold plating, vertical or right‑angle mating, J‑lead SMT tails, friction locks, and various solder‑tab options for enhanced PCB retention and EMI protection.
