This document describes a multi-LED fiber optic display system called L1-L12, which provides light sources in a 2x5mm format on the front panel. It features high temperature resistance and ESD protection.
The Mentor light guide system is designed for upright mounting and delivers light through a 2×5 mm LED on the front panel. The light guide is secured to the PCB with press‑in lugs and its length (A) can be adjusted from 9 mm to 45 mm. It is compatible with SMD LEDs and can be supplied in configurations ranging from 2‑fold to 10‑fold, for example as a bar‑graph display.
Technical data include a clear PC material (UL94), an operating temperature range of –40 °C to +85 °C, and ESD protection below 12 kV. Minimum order quantities start at 1 000 pieces for 2‑ to 9‑fold displays, with special lengths available on request. This manual is written in German.
