2 x 5 mm Multiple display is a light guide system from Mentor that provides light in the form of a 2 x 5 mm LED on the front panel. The system is available in 2-10 times, for example as a bar graph display.
The Mentor multiple display upright 2 × 5 mm is a light‑guide system designed for upright mounting. It delivers light from a 2 × 5 mm LED to the front panel and is held on the PCB by press‑in lugs. The length of the light guide (A) is adjustable from 9 mm to 45 mm and it can be supplied in configurations from two‑fold to ten‑fold, e.g., as a bar‑graph display. Colored light guides are available on request.
Technical specifications include the use of PC material (UL94), an ambient temperature range of –40 °C to +85 °C, ESD protection exceeding 12 kV, and optional LED part numbers for 2, 3, and 4‑element versions. Ordering numbers for non‑stock items are provided, and a layout suggestion with a 5.08 mm mounting hole is included. This manual is written in German.
