The IXFK/IXFN series is a N-channel power MOSFET launched by IXYS in 2002. It adopts miniBLOC package with a dimension of 5.1mm×6.5mm×3.0mm. It features low on-resistance, high switching speed, and excellent EMC performance. It is suitable for DC-DC converters, battery chargers, switching power supplies and other applications.
This preliminary data sheet provides the electrical and thermal characteristics of IXYS single die MOSFETs in the IXFN and IXFK families. It lists maximum ratings, typical performance curves, and package dimensions for the TO‑268 AA and miniBLOC/SOT‑227 B packages.
The document also outlines key features such as low package inductance, rugged polysilicon gate structure, and uncapped inductive switching capability, and lists typical applications including DC‑DC converters, battery chargers, and switched‑mode power supplies.
