About this manual

The XC886/888CLM series is an 8‑bit single‑chip microcontroller based on Infineon's high‑performance XC800 core, compatible with the standard 8051 processor. It integrates on‑chip memory (12 KB Boot ROM, 256 B RAM, 1.5 KB XRAM, up to 32 KB Flash), multiple peripherals such as UART, ADC, timers, CORDIC coprocessor, MultiCAN and a programmable watchdog timer.

The family offers variants with different memory sizes, supply voltages (I/O at 3.3 V or 5.0 V, core at 2.5 V), temperature ranges (‑40 °C to 85 °C SAF, ‑40 °C to 125 °C SAK) and package options (PG‑TQFP‑48, PG‑TQFP‑64). Detailed electrical parameters, pin configurations and quality declarations are provided in the datasheet.
