NXP Voltage Translators (NVT) are used in bidirectional signaling voltage level translation applications for I/O buses with incompatible logic levels. The NVT2001 and NVT2002 are single- and dual-channel voltage translators, operational from 1.0 V to 3.6 V at VCC(A) (low voltage side) and 1.8 V to 5.5 V at VCC(B) (high voltage side) without direction control for open-drain or push-pull I/O devices.
The NVT2001GM and NVT2002DP demo boards are provided to evaluate NXP's single‑channel and dual‑channel bidirectional voltage level translators. The boards allow interfacing between device I/Os operating at different voltage levels and include configurable jumpers and pull‑up resistors for various I/O styles.
The manual details the schematic, jumper and header functions, and provides reference information such as abbreviations, legal notices, and links to the related data sheet and application note. It also explains how to enable or disable the translator devices and how to configure pull‑up resistors based on the voltage difference between VREFB and VREFA. This manual is written in Chinese.
| Voltage range (low‑voltage side) | 1.0 V to 3.6 V |
|---|---|
| Voltage range (high‑voltage side) | 1.8 V to 5.5 V |
| Channel configuration | Single‑channel (NVT2001GM) or dual‑channel (NVT2002DP) |
Short pins 2 and 3 on jumper J1 to enable the NVT2001GM or NVT2002DP device.
If VREFB − VREFA is greater than or equal to 1 V, open jumper J2 and remove resistors R2 and R3.
