About this manual

The M54522P/FP transistor array integrates eight NPN Darlington circuits with built‑in clamping diodes. Each circuit can drive up to 400 mA with a collector‑emitter voltage rating of 40 V, making it suitable for driving relays, printers, LEDs and other high‑current loads.

Two package options are offered: a flat molded package (20P2N‑A(FP)) for space‑saving designs and a standard 18‑pin package. The device operates from –20 °C to +75 °C and includes protection features such as a 20 kΩ base resistance and a spike‑killer diode on each output.
