This document is a user manual for a USB-to-Serial device, which introduces the features and characteristics of the UC2322 / UC2324 / UC4852 / UC4854 models of USB-to-Serial RS-232 / RS-422 / RS-485 hubs.
The ATEN USB-to-Serial Hub offers plug‑and‑play RS‑232, RS‑422 and RS‑485 serial connectivity for computers, notebooks, PDAs and other USB‑enabled devices. Four models are available: UC2322 (2‑port RS‑232), UC2324 (4‑port RS‑232), UC4852 (2‑port RS‑422/485) and UC4854 (4‑port RS‑422/485). The hub supports data rates up to 115.2 Kbps per port, hot‑swapping, power‑saving suspend/resume and optional external power.
The manual covers package contents, system requirements, driver installation for Windows, peripheral connection steps, detailed specifications, pin assignments, and warranty information. It also includes troubleshooting guidance and instructions for uninstalling the drivers.

The UC2324 model provides four RS‑232 serial ports.
The hub is bus‑powered, but an external power adapter can be used optionally.
