Catalyst CAT4016 16-Channel Constant Current LED Driver Datasheet
The CAT4016 LED driver provides sixteen constant‑current sink channels that can be programmed via a single external RSET resistor. It operates from a 3.0 V to 5.5 V logic supply, supports LED currents from 2 mA to 100 mA, and includes thermal shutdown protection. A 4‑wire serial interface up to 25 MHz allows individual channel control and cascading of multiple devices.
Typical applications include billboard, marquee, instrument and general‑purpose displays. The device is offered in RoHS‑compliant 24‑lead SOIC, TSSOP, QSOP and 4 × 4 mm TQFN packages, with ordering information and pin‑out details provided in the later pages.
