About this manual

The Caspase-Glo® 3/7 Assay is a homogeneous, luminescent assay designed to measure caspase-3 and caspase-7 activities. The reagent contains a luminogenic substrate with the DEVD sequence optimized for caspase activity, luciferase activity, and cell lysis. Upon adding the single reagent in an 'add-mix-measure' format, cells are lysed, followed by caspase cleavage of the substrate to generate a stable 'glow-type' luminescent signal produced by Ultra-Glo™ Recombinant Luciferase. This manual is written in Chinese.

Frequently asked questions

What is the detection format for this assay?

The assay uses an 'add-mix-measure' format where a single reagent is added to samples.

How long does it take for the signal to reach steady state?

Caspase and luciferase enzyme activities reach steady state, peaking in approximately one hour.
