The MagneSil Total RNA mini-Isolation System is a high-throughput purification method for 96-well plates that allows for the rapid and simple purification of intact total RNA from small amounts of cells (≤1×105 cultured cells), tissue (≤2mg tissue, with 100µl of lysis buffer) or fresh whole blood (≤20µl).
The MagneSil® Total RNA mini‑Isolation System (model Z3351) is a high‑throughput kit for purifying total RNA from small numbers of cells, tissue samples, or fresh whole blood using 96‑ or 384‑well plates. It can be operated manually or integrated with Beckman Coulter Biomek® 2000 and Biomek® FX liquid‑handling workstations.
The manual details the system components, sample preparation, reagent preparation, and the complete purification workflow, including magnetic bead handling, DNase treatment, ethanol washes, and elution. It also provides layout instructions for the automated workstations, troubleshooting tips, and references to additional application literature. This manual is written in Chinese.
| Maximum sample amount (96‑well) | 1×10⁵ cells, 2 mg tissue, 20 µL whole blood |
|---|---|
| Maximum sample amount (384‑well) | 1×10³ cells, 5 µL whole blood |
| Storage condition | Room temperature (22‑25 °C) |
| Kit part number | CTB328 |
The 96‑well format can process up to 1×10⁵ cells, 2 mg of tissue, or 20 µL of whole blood per plate.
Wear gloves and use RNase‑free tubes and solutions throughout the protocol.
The full‑automatic method for Biomek 2000 is available on the Promega website at www.promega.com/automethods/.
