The IR2132 is a high voltage, high speed power MOSFET and IGBT driver with three independent high and low side referenced output channels.
The International Rectifier IR2132 is a high voltage, high speed power MOSFET and IGBT driver featuring three independent high and low side referenced output channels. It utilizes proprietary HVIC technology for ruggedized monolithic construction and includes logic inputs compatible with 5V CMOS or LSTTL outputs.
The device features a ground-referenced operational amplifier for analog feedback of bridge current via an external current sense resistor, along with a current trip function that terminates all six outputs. An open drain FAULT signal indicates over-current or undervoltage shutdown. The floating channels are designed for bootstrap operation and can drive N-channel power MOSFETs or IGBTs in the high side configuration up to 600 volts.
| High Side Floating Supply Voltage | 600V max. |
|---|---|
| Gate drive supply range | 10 to 20V |
| Deadtime | 0.8 us (typ.) |
| Ambient Temperature | -40 to 125 °C |
| Package Types | 28 Lead PDIP & SOIC / 44 Lead PLCC |
The maximum high side floating supply voltage is 600V.
Logic inputs are compatible with 5V CMOS or LSTTL outputs.
Over-current shutdown turns off all six drivers.
The typical deadtime is 0.8 microseconds.
