Agilent Multimode Inlet is a gas chromatography inlet that can introduce a large amount of sample (5 µL to 250 µL or more) into Agilent 7890 Series GC systems, thereby reducing detection limits while maintaining high sample throughput and quality of results.
The Agilent Multimode Inlet is designed to provide ease of use and maximum flexibility for gas chromatography applications. It performs all functions of a standard split/splitless inlet while offering additional features such as enhanced sensitivity, simplified solvent removal, and minimized decomposition of thermally labile samples. The inlet supports large volume injections ranging from 5 pL to over 250 pL in a single injection.
