About this manual

This document describes an application for analyzing prazosin, a common antihypertensive drug, in serum samples. The method utilizes on-line sample preparation/concentration via column switching to enable fast analysis of small 50 ul serum volumes.

The analytical separation is performed using a ZORBAX SB-CN column (Agilent P/N: 883975-905) with fluorescence detection. The mobile phase consists of 35% acetonitrile and 2 mM sodium octanesulfonate in 116 mM sodium phosphate at pH 2.8.
